If you have Acrobat, try exporting to a Word DOCX file. Begs the question of why you are getting a PDF from the publisher. Why don't they return their ID file? Mike

Why don't you convert from PDF to Word? You don't have to copy an paste. ps. Just realized Mike already suggested that. I think that's the way to go. I've done it and you get a workable word document.

Have you tried with a different image? Maybe there's an issue with the image? Or just try to open a new document and leave the default settings and place your image and see what happens.

No, you want to press the three keys immediately after launching the full Bridge (just like using the keys to reset ID prefs). Once you've reset the Bridge prefs this way try launching Mini Bridge again.

Are you saying Bridge doesn't launch from it's own .exe file? Reinstallation does not remove preferences unless you specifically tell the uninstaller to remove them.

Ask the publisher to tell the typesetter to export the text to RTF if that's feasible. It's feasible if there aren't too many stories in the file.
